A woman shared a HORRIFYING note she found in her boyfriend’s toolbox after dumping him – “He’s a psychopath!”

There’s no such thing as a ‘perfect breakup’. There simply is no easy way to drop the “This isn’t working anymore” bomb on someone, whether or not you still love them or absolutely despise them. But sometimes, deciding to split ways is the best decision you can make for yourself – especially when your life is on the line… at least with this woman, it is.

A horrified woman shared the moment she feared for her life after discovering an alarming note from her abusive, former partner.

She took to Reddit to share her eerie situation, posting a picture of a post-it note labelled as “vacation plans” with a sketch of a coffin that allegedly matched the woman’s measurements.

“I left my abusive partner and found this post-it note in his toolbox that details his plans for a coffin that he labels ‘vacation plans :)’. It matches my measurements.” she captioned her post.

The user explained that she discovered the note after her partner moved out, leaving his toolbox behind. Since he never collected it, she gave away his tools to a friend – and then found the note.

“It (the toolbox) was one of the really large ones that was kept out in the garage. He was escorted off the property. When he was escorted to get some of his things, he didn’t have a place for it, wherever he was staying.”

“He always intended on retrieving it, but when I was able to move, I gave it to a friend who works as a mechanic because I didn’t have a use for something that big or that many tools.”

“Before I gave it to him, I went through it to grab some basic stuff (hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, a drill, etc.) and that’s when I found this…” she explained.

The post amassed over 2.2 thousand upvotes with hundreds of users swarming to the comments section to show their concern and share their reactions.

“I’m not sure what makes this ‘oddly terrifying’... It’s literally just terrifying.” one person wrote.

“I hope you took this to the police. I’m glad you’re still here but please keep in mind you still may not be safe.” warned another.

“Go to the police NOW. You don't want to be killed by this man.” a third user urged.

While a fourth teased: “Awwww! The light-hearted smiley was a fantastic touch! He really cared!”

Well… that sounded like something out of a horror movie. What do you think could have warranted such a chilling note? Have you ever encountered a similar, scary experience? Share your thoughts and stories with us in the comments!

those measurements could relate to anybody, not neccesseraly just you, OR it could have been a different project altogether he was going to work on. if he had pland to kill you off I don't think he would have bothered about making a coffin for you, just a sack with rocks in and dump in the ocean. tut tut tut, the things you hear from people's paranoid imagination.

I agree Thomas. Who would go to the bother of buying timber and making a coffin. Spend wisely, Go camping. A stack of timber and a litre of petrol. OR. Hire a woodchipper! 🤐

no one , ABSOLUTELY NO ONE is worth going to gaol over, not even for disposing of them.
regardless of what may have happened or how badly you feel about them JUST MOVE ON and (as difficult as it will be) forget it

I agree. There is no one alive who is worth going to gaol for. 😁
