A Sydney rental ad is brutally mocked online after bizarre photoshopping job: 'It looks like a video game'

A rental listing for a two-bedroom house in the suburb of Rozelle in Sydney's East has been brutally mocked online for using 'cartoon furnishings.' Now members, when we first saw this we thought the listing was fake, however, we can confirm the listing does exist on Domain.com.au.
The Rozelle home is listed on Domain.com.au with fake furniture. Image source: The Daily Mail Australia.
The house is described as 'brand new' with 'carpet throughout' with a 'separate lounge' as well as a neat kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and landscaped courtyard. Unfortunately, the photos tell a completely different story, not to mention, the photos show fake computer-generated furniture all over the home, making the home look a little bit like a video game.
In the living room, you can see a red lounge, a mirror, and a TV on a fireplace that we honestly cannot tell whether is real or not? And folks, this is just the beginning of the house tour.
Let us take you to the main bedroom, where you can see a floating (yes, floating!) bed as well as a very strange-looking framed mirror that doesn't feature a mirror at all. So it's really just a frame of one segment of the wall. We also cannot tell whether the curtains on the windows are real or not (you'll have to tell us what you think), but there's one thing in this room that we know is real, and that's the internet or computer cord on the floor... All we have to say is if you have gone to the effort of photoshopping a bunch of fake furniture into a home, at least photoshop the cords out
Next up folks, we have what we believe to be the second bedroom. Unlike the main bedroom, the second bedroom doesn’t feature a bed. However, it does maintain the ‘floating’ theme, but this time we can see a floating sage-coloured chair with a piece of art right above it.
Of course, the entertainment does not end there, folks. Let us take you to the dining room. Where we can confirm the fireplace is real, but that seems to be the only ‘real’ feature in the room. The dining table and chairs look like they have been drawn onto the photograph, although we have to give credit where credit is due, the flowers are a nice touch As for the feature art in the dining room, we can’t help but think it kind of looks like the wall is crumbling and there is a fire coming through? But maybe our imagination is running a little bit wild.
Now, we may or may not have saved the best for last, which is often the case for a house tour, right?! The outdoor courtyard, of course! This courtyard was described as ‘landscaped,’ and my goodness, if this is what they are calling ‘landscaped’ in 2022, then you folks should see my parking spot; concrete, a little bit of dirt, and weeds. Stunning! Not to mention the outdoor furniture… At least the gorgeous frangipani tree steals the show.
Oh, dear members. We hope this story made you laugh, even if it was just for a moment! Sometimes we can’t help but think people overdo technology. Sometimes, technology just doesn’t need to be involved. We’re pretty sure these photos would have been just fine without the fake furniture, but remember, we aren’t the experts. What do you think of this photoshop, members? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
