Bunnings Warehouse has always been known for its extensive Christmas range, but one item on the list has already got shoppers rushing in store before it sells out.
Many fans missed out on the popular decoration last year. And while it may only be October, people have not wasted any time availing themselves of the $85 Solar Blow Mold Santa.
The Santa decoration is solar-powered and does not need batteries to light up. Photos from Facebook.
The 150cm Santa statue made by Lytworx is made from solid blow mold construction, and comes with Santa in his iconic red and white suit – along with warm white LEDs and a total running time of six hours.
This bright, energy-efficient Santa mold automatically lights up at dusk and perfectly adds the touch of Christmas magic to your yard, garden, campsite, balcony and more.
Many shoppers posted photos of their successful purchases.
“I am super excited,” one customer said, alongside a snap of her Santa decoration. “I missed out on last year’s toy soldier. This year I wasn’t missing out.”
She said she was able to avail of the item through the ‘click and collect’ feature of the Bunnings website.
Another woman posted, “Finally got my Santa, now I just need to find the reindeer.”
“OK, I know it’s early, but our Bunnings has started to put stock out,” a third woman wrote.
Last year, the solar penguin from Bunnings also went viral on social media, with stocks selling out almost immediately.
A bunch more solar Christmas items will be added to the vast 200-product range this year. Photo by Katelyn Morse.
Bunnings national outdoor lighting buyer Rebecca Hevey said, “For those planning on competing for the best Christmas display on their street, we’ve got some really fun additions to create a wow factor, including the biggest solar statues we have ever had in store.”
“This year, some of my predictions for top picks are an inflatable caravan Santa, a festive farm and a new take on the sellout favourite nutcracker soldier from last year, to name a few.”
The Christmas range has something for every budget, with prices starting at under $20, so for fanatics looking for affordable solar holiday decorations, Bunnings is your go-to.
Considering the year that everyone had, we, along with many other Aussies are feeling optimistic and are looking forward to celebrating the festive season.
