I loved Billy don't be a hero - Paper Lace, The air that I breathe - The Hollies, Hooked on a feeling- Blue Swede. What a great decade of music - 70's.

My daughter was born in 1974 and when I was up in the middle of the night feeding her I used to sing quite a few of those songs to her, but mostly "I honestly Love you"

There were some good/great songs in 1974, but not many. Most of them were crap. 60’s and 80’s were much better decades for music.

In my high school years I would cut out our local radio top 40 songs printed monthly in the Newcastle Morning Herald, I’d stick them on the inside of my wardrobe doors. Wish I’d have pulled them off & kept them. Such great memories, music was so important to us teens. It helped us navigate through our problems.
