“OMG!”, Shoppers SHOCKED after discovering luxury items only cost $12 at Kmart

When people think of luxurious fashion brands such as Dior and Chanel, they would not usually associate them with the beloved chain, Kmart.

You can only imagine the shock some shoppers had after discovering that the Aussie discount store had been spotted selling various designer coffee table books for as little as $12.

Now, several trendy shoppers are racing to their local Kmart stores just to get their hands on the last bit of stock.

One customer revealed how she nabbed Dior and Chanel hardcover coffee table books for a steal price of $12. Usually, other similar versions of the books sell for around $100.

“I got them from Kmart for $12 each,” said the woman, who goes by the name RhiRhi on TikTok.

“I did click and collect, but they should be in the book/stationery section,” she added.

The designer books come in various ranges of pastel colours associated with each of the fashion houses. Inside are hundreds of classic photos from each brand and how they operate. During the November Black Friday sales, Kmart had a collection available for $49, but they were a lot thicker than the current copies available on the shelves.

Fellow trendy Kmart shoppers flooded the comments section, expressing their disbelief at the amazing budget finds.

“No f*****g way,” said one stunned user. Another person added: “TWELVE DOLLLLARSSS MY WORD!”

“OMG! I have to look for these,” said another excited shopper.

Some who had already purchased the designer books were disappointed for spending over twice the Kmart price.

“Damn, I paid $30 each at a gift shop,” one woman said. Another user with the same experience added: “I spent $35 on them at a different shop.”

Some were lucky enough to have bought the books before the hype. One even expressed how perfect it was for a Christmas gift.

“Yes, I bought the Dior one for a friend the other week,” she said.

The Little Book of Chanel by Emma Baxter-Wright and the Little Book of Dior by Karen Homer are both available online for $12. Interested customers can also contact their local stores to see if there are any books left in stock.

And if you’re willing to spend an extra $12, Kmart also has a special edition Coco Chanel book and an illustrated biography of Christian Dior, both available online for $24.

So all that counts is that they have a stylish design and say Dior/Chanel on the cover? What are they about?

Coffee table books can be very informative, but in this case ... I have my doubts.

Surely coffee tables are for putting your coffee cup on, should there be some accidental spillage, all those nice books are going to be stained .
Coffee table for coffee, bookcase for books, simple.

Only good place for a coffee table book is to stop boredom setting in whilst waiting in a waiting room.
