If the smoke alarms are older than 10-years or if they fail to operate when tested they must be replaced. All smoke alarms that are required by legislation, when necessary, must be replaced with Australian Standard 3786–2014 compliant smoke alarms. If you don't have functional alarms Insurance companies can knock your claim back.

Animals can experience time differently from humans. To smaller animals, the world around them moves more slowly compared to humans. Salamanders and lizards, for example, experience time more slowly than cats and dogs. This is because the perception of time depends on how quickly the brain can process incoming information.

You can actually die laughing. And a number of people have, typically due to intense laughter causing a heart attack or suffocation. Comedy shows should come with a warning.
Must be an affliction of the past as there doesn't seem to be many good and funny comedians these days.

The farmer chopped his head off but didn’t chop it off far enough, so he felt sorry for it and let it live and fed it by pushing morsels of food down what was left of its neck. This is actually a true story but it died when the farmer pushed the food down wrong and it suffocated.😳
I read this months ago in the women’s weekly puzzle books that’s what prompted me to post these posts, so thanks to Suzannerose for this.😊
