Princess Catherine wore a striking red coat, a nod to the Welsh flag, and was seen waving at onlookers in a video shared on social media.

After arriving, the couple made their way to The Welsh Cake Shop in Pontypridd, where owner Theresa Conner taught them how to make traditional Welsh cakes.
Pontypridd was a key stop on their visit, as the town had suffered extensive damage from Storm Bert and Storm Darraugh in November and December last year.
Many homes and businesses had been flooded, and widespread power outages had affected the area.
‘It’s lovely and an honour for Pontypridd to have a visit. They are coming to visit Pontypridd where a lot of people have been affected here by the floods,’ Conner shared.
‘For them to do so will help boost people in the town and raise our profile.’
The Welsh Cake Shop had been a staple in the community for more than 25 years, serving locals its signature treats.
During the visit, the Prince and Princess shared a lighthearted moment as they got hands-on in the kitchen.
‘How dirty can you be? Flour everywhere?’ William joked as they baked.
The pair laughed as they got to work, embracing the messy task of making the traditional delicacies.
This outing marked their second joint royal engagement of the year, following Princess Catherine’s return to public duties in January after her remission from cancer.
