The supermarket giant Aldi has long been known for its affordable yet very effective products, particularly when it comes to cleaning. For years, shoppers have been raving about the store’s infamous do-it-all product Di-San.
However, a new budget cleaning product from the retailer had recently been praised as the ‘best cleaning product ever’ by many shoppers nationwide. Move over, Di-San!

Shoppers are raving about the new Aldi cleaning product - Green Action bath and shower cleaner, which sells for just $3.
“Best shower cleaning product ever under $3,” wrote one Aldi shopper on a Facebook post, alongside pictures of the product.
And surprisingly, the cleaning product already has a cult following, with some fellow Aldi shoppers saying they 100 per cent agree that it’s an amazing product.
“You got that right. It’s fantastic; I wouldn’t use anything else,” said one person, while another added: “It has made my life easier.”
One individual was keen to keep the wonder product a secret: “Ssshhh, don’t tell them!” they said.
Green Action bath and shower cleaner is a plant-based cleaning product and is certified eco-friendly. Users of the budget boasting product have been impressed by its effectiveness on soap scum, grime and those troublesome stains.
Shoppers also discovered alternative uses for the cleaning product too.
“This is the best for cleaning stains off rugs also. I use this on my white rug at home, and it does wonders,” shared one mum, while another added: “It’s great for tile grout too!”
However, there is one small trade-off that users have had to make for the amazing product: dealing with the smell.
While the product’s cleaning power is undeniably great, the smell, on the other hand, is something that takes some getting used to.
One person shared, “I had to stop using it; I couldn't stand the scent.”
“No one else thinks this smells like cat pee?” another person asked, while a third chimed in, saying: “I purchased a surface spray, and my family would say the kitchen smelt like a urinal.”
There is one woman who suggested a great solution to mask the smell of the effective cleaner.
“If it smells, add some lavender to the water or cut a lemon and add the juice,” she said.
We hope you're as excited to try this out as we are! If you’re interested in other cleaning products, we also wrote about a miracle product from Woolworths. You can read the article here.
