I received a couple of those lovely cards when I was a child. I was so thrilled. Now I still send Christmas and birthday cards but I make my own, and my family seem to appreciate getting a handmade card.

My daughter and I both have Japanese Spitz and it doesn’t matter which house we are in or who is going to the bathroom but both dogs always come as well and at least one will rest their head on the appropriate knee. Lol
I remember working part time in Coles before Christmas. It was as you see in the photo. Basically variety goods only. Lots of Christmas decorations, wrapping paper and cards etc and loads of customers all looking for a bargain.
Mum always kept old carrots or apples for me to feed the horses who pulled the bakers cart and the milk cart.
