We are in our new build!! We also have no curtains yet .Lucky for us the block next door is being developed as well and we do have a high fence. When I wake in the middle of the night or a little later I look out the window and there is the moon and one really bright star in all their glory...

My mum made one many many years ago that she would beat up two or three times and she used powdered milk in there somewhere. My sisters can't remember the recipe. Maybe it was something concocted through the war.

I have quite often made something very similar to this omitted the custard and extra sugar and it turns out fab...you have inspired me to start making it again.

Most of the larger supermarkets have and Asian section...Mexican section and some even have an English section. Maybe they should start up an American section. There are some things that I would like to see in there like tinned pumpkin. But I agree the oz. marked on the package is a bit off putting.

We usually finish things off on Christmas day with some Sheridans Shots (if you can manage to buy a bottle or two) or espresso martinis....at that stage any glass will do!!!!

I wish every supermarket would use the coin system....so many trolleys just get dumped anywhere and everywhere and quite often pushed against your car and scratch it. If you are too busy to return a trolley why not shop online? Problem solved.

There's an even easier solution...use a coin and then return your trolley and you will get the coin back
