    House of Merivale

I did love that store, but sadly I could never afford to shop there on my 16 year old wages. Sure did love to browse though.

Enter the next dimension of fun: Discover how the Hologram Zoo is revolutionising your wildlife experience

It says in the article that it is in Brisbane somewhere. I guess if you Googled Hologram Zoo Brisbane, it should show up. Sounds like it would be amazing

New trend reveals younger generation is ditching this common accessory

The other problem is if you are in an area with no phone service. We were pulled up for a RBT in the middle of nowhere, and my daughter had to scramble around in the back of the car to find her handbag where, luckily, she had her actual driver's license, because it wouldn't show up on the phone.

Struggling with phone and internet bills? Discover this game-changing lifeline for Australians!

Absolutely agree. I have never bought one of the newest phones, I'm happy to purchase "refurbished" or other brands. You only have to look around, I currently have an Oppo (recommended by a phone repair man) which was new and very affordable (also pretty, because that's important?). I'm very...

Struggling with phone and internet bills? Discover this game-changing lifeline for Australians!

The easy solution would be to have some inexpensive plans that have phone, but less data - still enough for everyday use, but not unlimited. I know Southern Phone have a seniors plan but can't remember what it was.

    Birthday Cards

I used to love getting these really pretty cards and couldn't bear to throw them out. I think I may still have at least one in a box somewhere.

Dermatologist reveals five everyday habits you must drop immediately

I absolutely believe you, but when I said diluted I meant that I dilute the 3% formula that I purchase - I don't think this amount would be harmful if it's good for my mouth

Dermatologist reveals five everyday habits you must drop immediately

Not so sure about that. I use diluted peroxide as a mouth wash when my gums are a bit inflamed.

Diabetes group appeals for subsidy of costly treatment as promising medicines debut

It's so true. I have chronic pain and haven't found a medication yet that works really well. The best I can get it Panadeine Forte, but you can no longer get repeats. I used to get 5 packets with 1 script, but now I can only get 1 packet at a time. I actually take it for a chronic cough and...

Magazines were supposed to die in the digital age. Why haven’t they?

They must have been jealous that they hadn't thought to do that too. As I admitted, I do read books on my tablet, and it goes everywhere with me. I found it great for hospital, because I can load it with more than enough books to last me through my stay.

Magazines were supposed to die in the digital age. Why haven’t they?

I read all my books on my tablet, but magazines are another thing altogether. The ones I'd like to read need a dedicated reader - you can't download the magazines and so you can't print pages which is really annoying for craft magazines which is what I like. I do subscribe to two Australian...

Outrageous 'manspreading' incident on a plane sparks outrage

My first impression was that at least he's in the aisle seat. I'm sure he wasn't actually encroaching on her space. That said, it could be dangerous - would have been good if the drink trolley accidentally ran into him. If obviously wasn't a Jetstar flight because he actually has room in from...

Win an Ergoflex Memory Foam Mattress - Australia's #1 Mattress for Back Pain

I recently bought an Ergoflex mattress for my adjustable king single bed. I bought the bed from Marketplace and it hadn't been used, but the mattress was like a rock, I couldn't sleep another night on it. So I did some research on suitable mattresses and Ergoflex came out at number one, and...

Shocking paint attack at Bunnings leaves woman furious—who's to blame for her ruined car?

Not all. Neither of our Bunnings stores even have gates on them. One is part of a larger complex with a shared carpark. It depends on the store.

Major safety issues trigger urgent recall of Constipation Relief Pills and several Costco products

Bit late to recalling Christmas products. If it was my house all of that would have been consumed by now, and definitely not by children. Why on earth would children be allowed near alcohol filled items??

Real estate CEO sues Kmart for $205,000 over a slip-and-fall incident inside their store

On a completely different note - what a good idea to use a puppy pad to absorb the drips

Laser Eye Surgery – I Can See Clearly Now…

So sorry to hear you had such a bad time. I did have a small problem with dry eyes, but just kept using drops and it settled eventually. I can't believe that they wouldn't just fix your dodgy lens to resolve that problem, or do the laser surgery now so that you aren't going through these...

Laser Eye Surgery – I Can See Clearly Now…

My experience was a bit different. I also had astigmatism and badly wanted to have surgery once I found out about it, but my eyes weren't suitable. Then a few years ago my optometrist told me I had cataracts forming and that surgery would be a good idea. The specialist discussed having one...

Trial for cashless gaming expands to 4,400 new machines at pubs and hotels

I just Googled it finally, and it's worse than I thought. The card is one that you can put money onto digitally and use it to play OR there are machines where you can just transfer money from your phone to the machine. There was no mention of limits. I'm just gobsmacked that this is being allowed
