    I am always conscious of how l get my groceries home, if I’m buying perishables they go into an esky with a cold brick. Putting meat etc into a very hot car is asking for trouble, it would have started to cook before you even got home.

    Who works out these percentages. I think 9.3 is way off. I am on an aged pension and l know for a fact my groceries spend it at least 50% more than it was 12 months ago.

    I always buy 2 or 3 bunches when they are reasonably prices. I then chop them up and freeze them in ziplock bags. They get used in omelet's, savoury mince, curries etc.
