Why does everybody blame everything on a PM. Law usually written years before their tenure. And can't be changed over night. Besides when written they can't have every possible thing that can wrong covered. Would need a crystal ball.
I seem to be going against the grain here, but there is legislation in place to prevent fraud etc. You can't just push laws to the side. There would be utter chaos. Besides can you imagine the uproar when taxpayers money is being given to anybody who applies. What needs to now be put in place...
Well I guess it is in line with the e500grams weight measurement you get on the packaged goods. Which means it is an electronic weight. When you get home it can be a big difference to what the packets says and what the scales says. So that is another one to watch out for.
Go on line and transfer the odd amount in you transaction account over to an on line saver, I am very ocd. and round up my account each week and put it into another account, after 2 years off covid I now have enough for a cruise.
It is alright if you have a freezer big enough to take it all and spread it out. Otherwise it can be a waste of money even though not much. The use by is very short and how much cheese of the same variety can you eat.
Being in QLD, chocolate tends to suffer from humidity and heat sometimes with delays getting it from loading docks to store air con. and if a customer reports that it was white or chalky they check some and if same problem found they discard all from that shipment in.
I have also seen unsold items that have been marked down that didn't sell (not meat) but good food donated to the local food bank. As well as being picked up by OZHARVEST to cook meals for homeless.
but you can freeze as long as before date. Will keep for a few extra weeks. Some of the prepared fresh food like lasagna etc. even have this printed on the back of container with instructions for heating from both frozen and fresh.
