I am always astounded and disgusted with the greed of some people. I hope Michael wins his case against these two . I also hope SDC keeps an eye out for any updates on this story for those of us that are interested.

Hubby was an accountant in a previous lifetime and he still keeps track of our spending ( thank goodness) and we have been shocked at the increases in prices. Of course we knew things were more expensive but the percentages in some cases is phenomenal.

Great in stir fries. I find the stem is great in stews etc as well. Still get the taste but it doesn't turn to mush like the head does . Glad to know I'm not the only one using the stem:giggle:

We can't complain up here in Cairns area, 184.9 , still too high but certainly better than some places.

We still have one and I mentioned that to our provider. They said they have no problems with a landline. They can't foresee them phasing them out at least not in our lifetime . Besides there are still a lot of businesses using landlines.

I'm always amazed of the things people do to improve their homes. Often it's simple and inexpensive items from Kmart or op shops. I don't have the imagination and always appreciate the articles you have on these imaginative people.

I travel extensively. When going overseas it's not a problem as there is more room but I still ask the person behind me if they don't mind. Never had one person get angry an say no. As for domestic flights, can't find a reason to have to lay back even when going coast to coast. It's not...
