Ridiculous. Wait times will be horrendous. If we all pay a levy we r all entitled to the rebate regardless. As if a specialist will agree to their measly rebate as full payment. I’m usually at least $150-200 out of pocket after rebate.

Doesn’t help those who have to wait an extra 6 months in order to ever get a pension.

Why on earth throw away unsold clothes just because of fashion trends. Ludicrous and selfish. Give to the homeless or charities. Even big name sales are still expensive. Maybe others be less waste if the prices dropped further.

If by supplies they mean the farmers then they need to earn enough to eat too. Maybe the supermarkets need to cut their own profits to keep prices down and take it from those lower down the chain.

Considering their profits prices should not be as high. I know they have some obligations to their shareholders but that should be outweighed by their moral obligations to the public in these tough times.

For many children this is already the norm. Before snd after school care is essential for working parents. But not sure making it compulsory for everyone would work. Many also have private after school sports.
