Item 2. I don't toot the horn as I am leaving because it would disturb the neighbours. Item 5. Splashing water. Oh come on, that takes most of the fun away from driving in the rain. I only drive in the rain so I can splash people. I am just kidding folks. It would be incredibly rude to splash...

Horror stories from AustralianSuper customers – Accounts locked and no warning given!

I don't understand why it takes years or months to fix these things. Surely they can assess the clients previous information and on that basis review and resolve the issue. It does take time, so I can appreciate that it may take a few weeks as they are dealing with a number of requests. But the...

Oh yes, things in Australia are different as they are everywhere else in the world. It is not a big deal. I actually try and understand the differences. There is often cultural reasons why things evolved a particular way. But going barefoot outdoors is still not for me, unless I am on a beach. :)

Authorities hunting for 'disgusting grub' throwing dirty nappies out of their window

One family’s ‘absolutely disgraceful’ discovery at their Airbnb ruined their whole holiday!

I have stayed at 3 AirBnB accommodations and I have had no problems. However, the last place we stayed at had a very small bedroom which was a bit frustrating but manageable. Next time I will be asking the question about size of the room. I find that organisations don't seem to do the right...

In defence of self-service checkouts: Consumer expert responds to shopper's open letter

I don't mind showing receipts at the exit as it potentially reduces the risk of thefts. Note that all of us end up paying for thefts as prices in the store go up. I don't use self serve at Coles, woolies etc unless I have one or two items. Otherwise I always use the checkout service.
