Man tragically dies over fatal substance intended for someone else

I am so sorry to hear about ABC's case. This is just my personal opinion, but I don't believe in VAD. I have numerous serious health concerns but would never consider VAD, I know a lot of people would. There seems to be needed more checks and balances in place and definite medical advice around...

Aged care reforms face further delays due to 'surprise' provisions

I think the Opposition should go through the proposals with a fine tooth comb. Damm the Greens just wanting everything passed sight unseen. I don't like the sound of waiving criminal penalties for operators guilty of misconduct. That should be deleted for a start. I don't know how the changes...

Australians' privacy concerns soar as Meta admits to scraping public photos without consent

I never put photos on Facebook, only post craft ideas. It is totally unsafe. And my settings are private.

Struggling to make ends meet? Upcoming Centrelink boost still not enough for Aussies

Anything is a help. Although I think, from past experiences that if a Liberal Government gets into power again in Queensland the first thing they will do is raise public housing rent. We have been lucky for a bit with the Labor government. But all governments are out to take what they can...

Big issue with Coles and Woolworths that baffles millions of customers!

Mine that come home with shopping delivered are wet and no use when they get into my door, they go straight into the recycling bin. When I happen to go into a store, anyone, I take my own cloth bags. I wonder how much money these paper bags are costing us in our groceries?

Game-changing health insurance shake-up for 1.47 million Aussies missing out

Yes I received a quote for my new health insurance, it had gone up to $4,000 approximately so I had to drop Hospital Cover and keep extras. I have had cover for 50+ years but it is becoming far too expensive especially on a pension.

Ex-paramedic reveals lifesaving tips you must know before dialling emergency services

I have registered with the ambulance how to get into my unit. Just have to renew it every year with them. If I am unable to get to the door, they know the keysafe number. I am on my own as well.

Ex-paramedic reveals lifesaving tips you must know before dialling emergency services

I have only positive things to say about the paramedics, they have come as quickly as possible and I have always locked my cat in the bedroom. They don't care about the state of my home, as long as there is enough room for their equipment they are here to help. All paramedics are angels in my books.

Centrelink or luxury link? Unravelling the mystery of unemployed man’s million-dollar haul

I know it happens far more frequently than just this one case. I don't know how they get away with it because I am struggling on a pension and live in Housing. What you see beggers belief sometimes.
