The items Aussies are removing from their grocery lists just to save

Totally agree with what you say about Temu. I started using them fairly recently and am amazed at their pricing, all with no delivery charge. The quality is pretty good too. I also would agree with you about their sizing on clothes and shoes - best to check their sizing charts. All my friends...

Op shop find prompts cost-of-living conversation: ‘I nearly fell over’

This doesn't surprise me. I have always been an ardent op-shopper but no more. The prices have become ridiculous. It is cheaper to shop at KMart or on online with Temu to buy relatively cheap, good quality items. But, I guess they have to get enough money in to pay the exorbitant salaries of...

My God - in a world of turmoil, war and want, this container is only compounding all these problems!

Investigation launches after police use taser and pepper spray on elderly man

I would guess a man in his 60s being tasered by two fit young men would be considered "vulnerable" by most people. These two policemen were stood down after video footage was viewed. Disciplinary and criminal investigations are being held. The chain of command did no investigations of their own...

Doctor claims oral sex puts people at a higher risk of throat cancer than smoking

This "doctor" seems to be a bit of an attention seeker. Check out some of her other videos!

Investigation launches after police use taser and pepper spray on elderly man

What is going on with the Australian police force? Yet another situation where a vulnerable person is subjected to violence by the police. There is something far wrong when two fit men can't handle a man in his 60s without resorting to the use of a taser. It seems the training is sadly lacking...

What did this Coles shopper find in their ‘special delivery’?

Don't think I'll be paying $19 a month for the chance of a free packet of crisps!

Tragic twist: Clare Nowland's death exposes non-compliant facility post-alleged taser incident

What an indictment on police training in NSW that a huge policeman couldn't disarm a 95 year old woman ON A WALKER without resorting to violence by tasering her! The care home bears huge responsibility for this - the lack of training of their staff is absolutely disgusting that so-called trained...

Kmart’s latest clothing line has everything under $35—don't miss out!

There's a lot of hypocrisy about clothes made in China. Realistically that is all some people can afford. I would also suggest the clothes "snobs" check the labels on their designer items. It always says "Designed in Australia", turn the label over usually says "Made in China"!

Plus-size traveller demands size-inclusive amenities, and proposes larger hallways and elevators

Talk about entitlement - how ridiculous is this woman. Unless there is a medical problem with weight the simple answer is keep your mouth closed and monitor what goes in it. Sorry to be blunt, but I find this really irritating. I'm 5'2" and can't reach top shelves in supermarkets. Should I ask...

Outrageous new trend in Aussie op shops sparks fury

I think it's been forgotten op shops were setup to help the poor and disadvantaged be able to afford clothes and shoes. In a world now where charity executives receive ridiculous salaries, this is what is fuelling the higher prices. It's quite disgraceful when you see items from places like K...

Do you know that this Coles trick can get you sale prices on out-of-stock items?

This has been available in Coles for many years. I have used it on severeal occasions when I have wanted to stock up with a specific item. You only have to ask.

Is a $25 pair of Kmart jeans better than designer ones? A shopper's comparison tells all!

I totally agree. I have several pairs of jeans purchased from KMart about four years ago for $7.50/pair. They are great, have a little stretch, keep their shape, wash well, and still look good. My son also wears their jeans and is very happy with the fit and style. There's too much snobbery...

Are you ready for a cashless society? How Coles' latest change will affect your shopping routine

While it is useful to be able to use your debit card if you have no cash with you, it is not a preferred option. People should be able to have the choice of both methods. Banks need to realise they are supposed to be a service industry, and that means offering the choices their consumers prefer.

Woolies shopper allegedly accused of theft due to frustrating self-checkout error

I prefer to use a self checkout and have never experienced this. When I don't bag an item I have scanned when shopping in Coles a message comes up asking me if I want to bag it, and I respond accordingly. I'm surprised that didn't happen for this lady.

This ingenious Kmart hat tip went viral on social media-what's all the fuss about?

Whilst this hat looks terrific, I really dislike the expression "causing a media frenzy" it sounds ridiculous. The use of such hyperbole is dreadful.
