It's her not her friend. She knows exactly what palliative care is. Maybe just praying or sending good thoughts will be goodPalliative care is a type of care that focuses on improving the quality of life for people with serious illnesses, such as terminal lung cancer. It involves a team of healthcare professionals who work together to provide:
- *Symptom management*: Relief from pain, shortness of breath, nausea, and other symptoms
- *Emotional support*: Counseling, therapy, and emotional support for patients and their loved ones
- *Practical support*: Assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- *Spiritual support*: Support for patients' spiritual or existential concerns
- *Coordination of care*: Help navigating the healthcare system and coordinating care with other healthcare providers
Palliative care can be provided in various settings, including:
- *Hospitals*: Palliative care teams are often part of hospital care
- *Hospices*: Specialized care for people with terminal illnesses
- *Home care*: Palliative care can be provided in the comfort of the patient's own home
- *Outpatient clinics*: Some palliative care services are available in outpatient clinics
You can inform your friend that palliative care is not about giving up, but rather about living as fully as possible, with dignity and comfort, despite the illness. It's a supportive care that can help improve her quality of life.

I couldn't go past this post without a reply, I appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers in here but your words have given me a massive lift, thank you so muchDear sweet Dawn, we are all here with you and for you, to help you through this tough time in your life. Dawn you know that Miracles are real, they happen everyday. You asked for a Miracle and the Universe heard, God heard and you know what, a miracle will happen for you. Believe me, I have seen Miracles happen so many times, that's why I have such a strong connection with God. Dawn, know that God hears you and is working here and now in his own special way, to heal you and make that Miracle manifest for you. And when that Miracle heals you, you will also be able to say, I believe in Miracles because your prayers were heard by the Univerase and by God. With kindest thoughts, 7777,![]()

Keep on eating chocolate it’s good comfort foodThank you so much to everyone in here for your prayers and healing thoughts.
Right now i'm at home and i'm comfortable and not in a lot of pain, but the hospital gave me a sack load of Oxycodone just in case. But the pain isn't bad enough to use them, then my doctor gave me double strength slow release ones and I have a half a dozen boxes of those, both of them knock me out so I try not to take them except at night if the pain is bad.
I intend to stick around for a while yet and thanks to your prayers and thoughts I think I just might.
I feel good within myself, not sick and i'm eating properly, except I still eat too much chocolate LOL.
I haven't been online much lately, the only reason being is I hate this computer room i'm in, once my partner moves my room i'll be online more.
Again, thank you guys, you are second to none, everyone of you and I love you all![]()

Keep holding onto hope. Dawn I have seen many many Miracles through prayer.
One we were told our daughter Sophie ( who just gave birth to the premi ) was blind. We were told by 3 specialist she was blind but through many people and many churches praying one morning I went to get her up and she looked into my eyes and smiled . She was 10 months old.
That was the first of many ,including when we were told last November and then again in January that Sophie's baby wouldn't make it, and he did , again, many people were praying.
When it's my time to go I know what to expect.
I have had a near death experience and it's all recorded with doctors and anaethisist witnessing that I died.
I didn't want to come back, I was at peace and in a place that was too beautiful to describe.
I'm sharing my Miracles with you to show you there is someone looking over us.
Dawn I was the biggest atheist until I started seeing things that couldn't be explained .
You will feel all the love and warmth coming your way from everyone who is praying and holding you close in their thoughts.
You have my number, call me anytime of the day or night. Hey we can do a three way with Caroline![]()
