I agree with you. I spoke to a friend whom I worked with in a hospital 10 years ago. She said that I wouldn't know anyone there now as many had died. It is pretty obvious what happened. I am saddened by those people whose lives have been cut short and my condolescences to Taryn for her loss.

I agree with many of the comments. We saved and saved for our home. We didn't have take-away and we only went out to dinner on our wedding anniversary. It took us 5 years. We did not waste money and I have always budgeted. I do not think that our children understand "going without".
