Are you on track? See the average savings balances across Australian age groups

I agree with you. I would hate to see the interest charged on their credit cards that will need to be paid back. Budgeting should be taught as a subject at school. It is impossible to know how much you need on a weekly basis if you don't know how much your expenses are.

Parking here could cost you $660—avoid this costly mistake

We lived on a main road and this would happen to us frequently. This was over 40 years ago now. We did stop it by writing in lipstick on the windscreen of the car "Please do not park here". I guess it was vandalism but no harm was done. It is very difficult to get lipstick off as it smears...

Government reveals plans for superannuation amid Albanese's second term. Will these policies affect you soon?

Did we vote them in? The electorate that I am in, which is Boothby had been Liberal for a number of years. In the last election Labor won this seat. I always believed that something was gravely amiss when it went to Labor. Now this election, Sturt which was held by Liberal for 53 years has...

Government reveals plans for superannuation amid Albanese's second term. Will these policies affect you soon?

A very well written article. I agree with you. It is not the amount that is in our Super Funds that is the real issue. It is the total principle of what they intend to do. Once in, it could affect everyone's Super Funds as they change the limits at their whim.

Is your retirement fund safe? One Aussie lost $50,000 overnight

I run a Self Managed Super Fund. I am not seeing the same result as Peter Jarrett. On 4th April, I documented that President Trump added tariffs. My stocks went down and were lower than they had been. However yesterday, 1st May, my stocks were at an all time high. Gold is also very high at...

Hospital trial pushes for better support for senior Aussies. How can you benefit from it?

What happens to Beverley Minogue at the end of her 2 weeks? I wondered whether this just puts off an admission by 2 weeks or whether it gives them time to arrange an operation if that is what she needs.

Company halts drug development over serious health risk—should you worry?

I was showing sympathy towards ECassidy. Veggiepatch, you have proved to me that you are a troll.

Company halts drug development over serious health risk—should you worry?

A class action against the Australian Government over Covid-19 vaccination injuries has been filed in the Federal Court. More than 500 people are part of the class action, filed against (at least) the Australian Government, the Department of Health and Aged Care Secretary Dr Brendan Murphy and...

Company halts drug development over serious health risk—should you worry?

I agree with you Bridgit. Irregardless of the comments from others, I have recently met people who were so damaged by the jab that they can no longer function in the capacity that they once did. I actually fear for my children as the damage may not show up for many years to come.

Company halts drug development over serious health risk—should you worry?

It was a crime against humanity and they still haven't withdrawn it.

Powerful natural antibiotics you have in your kitchen

I agree with Babybird. Sometimes you have to explore alternatives to heal. They are my first option now. Pharmaceuticals are not always conducive to good health. Sometimes they cause more harm than good.

‘They’re already struggling’: New changes to aged care spark fear among families

I agree with you. I spent yesterday afternoon going through all the candidates in my electorate to see which policies I liked best. I do not like what the major parties have done to us. Hence I am going to put them last. With a bit of luck we may get in a minor candidate who will help keep...

Aussie home builder collapses with $20 million debt, impact on you

It will be interesting to see whether David Speirs, former SA Liberal Leader is given any gaol time for his illicit drug use of cocaine. If the government had any sense, they may have been able to trace his source and put another drug dealer behind bars.

Health experts raise crucial alert before Easter weekend kicks in

I was working in a hospital and had a flu shot and ended up in another hospital a couple of months later. It compromised my immune system. Hence I don't have the flu shot and I have never had the flu. I believe you are right in looking after your immune system with good foods and vitamins as...

Aussie home builder collapses with $20 million debt, impact on you

Thank you for your comprehensive information. There doesn't seem to be any accountability in today's society. Our honesty has been compromised. Governments are not helping and are part of the problem.

Aussie music veteran reveals massive health update: 'It's really on the rise'

I agree with you. I spoke to a friend whom I worked with in a hospital 10 years ago. She said that I wouldn't know anyone there now as many had died. It is pretty obvious what happened. I am saddened by those people whose lives have been cut short and my condolescences to Taryn for her loss.
