I was literally there today and it was a f****** nightmare!”: Why Kmart’s chaos can’t be ignored

Staffing costs money, especially in Australia. With the discount pricing Kmart offers, where is the money going to come from? I'm genuinely hoping Kmart doesn't go the way Rivers did.

Woman fights for her rights after 'elaborate scam' pushed her to debt: 'What's going on here?'

From the article: The recruiter pitched to her that signing up for an online business management course could boost her job prospects. Actually, they're criminals. They intentionally used hard-pressure sales tactics, a great script, and specifically aimed at young people who felt they were in...

Aussies are calling this $5 Kmart find a ‘total bargain’

I get it, but time marches on. How many people (young or old) are eager to live our childhoods in this day and age? Not many; humans are built to aim for efficiency and an easier life than their parents had.

This Coles shopper’s secret saves her over $1,000 every year—could it work for you?

Yes, it's happened to me at a Coles which was open 24 hours a day; a checkout guy scanned the marked-down item and, because it was after midnight, the register wouldn't accept the scanned item because the item was "officially" out of date.

The horrifying moment police unleashed pepper spray and taser on a 92-year-old amputee

Cops are also supposed to have brains which are able to distinguish threats from annoying situations. Be careful you don't end up in a situation in which the cops think you're too much trouble and give you the same treatment.

The horrifying moment police unleashed pepper spray and taser on a 92-year-old amputee

How is it possible that people agree that using force and fear with the elderly is justified? They keep telling us how well-trained the police are but they're unable to take knives off cripples? It's utterly ridiculous that any of this happened when all they had to do is throw a blanket on the...

'I’m not going to serve you here': Here’s why Aussies are divided over this restaurant drama

Maybe the Restaurant does not want to cater to families. There are plenty of restaurants which do cater to families to choose from.

Trump's crackdown sparks funding crisis for Aussie education

Education Minister (Jason) Clare highlighted Australian universities' strong track record in research, noting that 'Australian universities punch above their weight in research.' Talk is cheap so put your money where your mouth is, Jason. As of March 2025, Australia has committed over $1.5...

Level up dinner with Woolworths' mouthwatering twist on roast chicken

If you decide on an air fryer, check out air fryer ovens. They're not much more expensive when on sale but do a whole lot more than the air fryer with a pull-out basket. We picked up one at Target for $89 before Xmas although Kmart was selling the same model but had run out of stock.

Level up dinner with Woolworths' mouthwatering twist on roast chicken

My daughter shops with a few friends at Costco and 5 of them have split the joining fee amongst themselves. The one friend who is able to do all the shop visits holds the membership card and whoever wants to join in on a shop is invited.

Teen with no vaginal opening gets pregnant after a stabbing incident—doctors weighed in

To be fair, she had to get stabbed while giving fellatio for it to happen. Most of us will be safe.

The ATO has its sights set on taxpayers—are you on the list?

I think you meant reduced by loopholes created by the government to help them and theirs. You don't think politicians are profiting from loopholes (not to mention the outright grifting)?

$557 million scam threatens your wallet: Here’s how ATO is fighting back

We already have the laws on the books that punish this activity. Why aren't the criminals being pursued and punished now? It's in the "too hard" pile because the scammers are underground here and overseas. It's a way to introduce more and more laws which govern the law-abiding. I'm no fan...
