    Ask Joy: Voluntary Assisted Dying

Dear Maria I’m so sorry you had to go through this watching anyone you love go through pain is awful. This is the beginning of change and hopefully the government will begin to see that people are not rushing to die for the “fun” of it but because of genuine pain and suffering. That pain and...

    Ask Joy: Voluntary Assisted Dying

I’m so sorry Ian for your pain watching your mother pass away . VAD has been incredibly slow bringing in just this, so far but there are groups still working behind the scenes to bring about earlier assistance. I watched my husband slowly die from cancer and not being able to stop the pain was...

Ask Joy: I think someone I know needs a little help.

I’m so sorry it is a struggle for Aged Care it is very under resourced and I guess it is only when we petition and have our voices heard that we can make change. Please don’t give up and maybe try your local council to see if they have any help available. As Wendell says above, “don’t give up”. 🙏🏻💖
