I was brought up to go what was called a dunny A hole big enough to seat a cow. Yet we perched and performed because children were resourceful and faced our fears. A lot of today’s little ones are more than a bit over protected. Feel sad for the little girl though

My daughters took the the grandchildren and they in turn their children and are good travellers and have never had a problem with their children and toileting on planes. So worrying to see fears of such a basic need wherever you are.
