I’m not sure what the recipe means by “soft cheese”.
Is it cottage cheese, cream cheese, Brie or something else? Or does it not matter?

cheeses like feta and ricotta to soft-ripened cheeses such as brie and camembert are all classified as soft cheese. My pick would be feta or ricotta

Cottage or cream cheese I sometimes use feta changes the flavour.
