the New version website https://www.bom.gov.au/

the difference between the 2 is that the old version now has reg in front of the bom gov au

check it out for your selves

It’s handy to know that the old version now includes “reg” in the address.

Wow - you have made my day!! I didn't know the original version still existed. I find the new version completely irrelevant and useless. Showing no sign of rain yet thunderstorms happened!! Thank you so much.

I haven't viewed it as yet. As long as I can print the "Tide" charts off & get a god indication of the winds, rain predictions, sun & moon rise & set times, the moon quarters, I'll be a real "Happy Chappy".

I live by the tide chart,&, it is also my diary.

I wish they could fix the weather with temperatures which do not reach extremes on one day after another. Yesterday we had a temperature of 37 degrees but today it is not expected to get above 17 degrees. It is also raining which we expected to bring the temperature down somewhat but not by 20 degrees!!

I get all the info I need from my Apple Weather app. For the first time, I yesterday tried the BOM site because of this discussion. Assume it's the latest version, but anyway found it very easy to use and I like the map feature. The BOM has loads of extra info. I'll come back to it now I know about it, but generally am happy with my inbuilt Apple Weather. It provides a great screen background of my real-time weather on my phone and ipads. Right now I have rain for my phone wallpaper. Don't think BOM can do that.
