What's your Thursday tradition?​

Happy Thursday, friends! We’re edging closer to the weekend, but there’s still plenty of week left to enjoy. It made me wonder, when you think of Thursdays today vs. in your younger years, was there something special you used to look forward to? Maybe a favourite TV show, a weekly outing, or even a special dinner? Me? I remember staying in school a bit late just to play all kinds of games with friends. I come home sweaty sometimes, but with a big smile on my face. What about you?

When I was younger, Thursdays meant tomorrow’s Friday! Yay!
And I hope I get to treat Thursdays in the future like these three old codgers!!

When I was young Thursday ment getting ready for my Friday night out which was dancing the night away at The Persian Room Kings Cross.
I loved being a teenager in the 70s

In my younger days as a boy, I rushed home as quickly as possible after school to watch Lost in Space, Giligan's Island, Addam's Family, The Monsters, Flipper, International Rescue and Skippy The Bush Kangaroo and The Brady Bunch.

How did you know ?? I was a real rebel. Stayed out all night, smoked pot, tripped occasionally and had loads of fun.
Glad my kids were not like me.

And he was no better than me funny when I would remind him how we were when we were young when he was lecturing one of our kids he hated it.

Who do you think I did everything with .

Have you watch my Big Fat Greek Wedding ? He is exactly like the father in that. When we first saw it I was laughing and telling him that was him.

Gosh I don’t have one anymore it’s been a long time between drinks that’s for sure. Now I just take every day as it comes and happy to wake up on a Thursday and every day at that, with my little boy.
