Do this for free trial and never be scamed​

Unfortunately it won't work unless there is a large amounton the card, as soon as you have used all the money on the card it becomes void.

With anything including free trials or subscriptions that need a credit or debit card it checks that you have money on the card.

I have tried this when I signed up for a free trial or purchased vitamins and I had a used Pre paid, it declined and said see issuer even though there was enough to pay for the vitamins, there wasn't enough for the next delivery

While some services will accept them, many will require a card with a higher balance for a pre-authorisation hold, (which some open-loop prepaid cards lack), or a card from a specific issuer, leading to declined transactions.

Brilliant idea if you can use them. As soon many things you now buy on line especially vitamins and cosmetics will automatically place you on a monthly subscription and take money out each month.

Just make sure you have money on the card before using

Dear member Babybird, what a fantastic idea. Yes all you have to do is make sure you have sufficient funds for your purchase, including the cost for delivery, on your pre debit card, and shop on line without worries of being hacked. A lady I know from Coffs Harbour gave a bunch of prepaid debit cards from Woolworths to all of her friends for Xmas a few years back.
When they went to Woolies to redeem the cards at the checkout, they were told that the cards had not been registered by Woolies, and that in fact, they had been stolen.
She doesn't have any friends anymore. True story.
