Our pick is ‘Crying’ by Roy Orbison—suggested by member @novezar! Released in 1961, this emotional powerhouse put Orbison’s incredible vocal range on full display and quickly became one of his signature hits.



Did you know Roy originally wrote it after running into an old flame unexpectedly? He said he didn’t cry in front of her, but once she walked away, the tears came—and the song was born. It’s haunting, dramatic, and unforgettable.

Great song. Great voice - the man could sing 3 octaves.
Another Aussie singer Johnny O’Keefe also had a surpringly magic voice, considering he sang raw Rock and Roll most of the time. Have a listen to a son of his called “I Thank You”. Fantastic.
