General Discussion Thread 20.05.2025

Good morning, legends! ☀️ I have a story to tell: This morning, over a cuppa, my mum asked me one of those ‘what if?’ questions that stick with you.

She said, ‘Love, if you woke up tomorrow and found you were the last person on Earth—but only for 24 hours—what would you do?’

Well, I nearly spilled my drink! At first, I joked I’d finally eat all the Tim Tams without sharing… but then I got thinking. Maybe I’d play her old vinyl records one last time, or sit by the river with nothing but the sound of nature, or maybe get some of my favourite gelato!

So now I’m asking you: If today were your last day, all to yourself, how would you spend it? Would you do something adventurous, or simply enjoy the little moments that make life sweet?

Let us know in the comments below!

I would go find a super hotted up car and go for a spin to a jewellery store and hi end clothes store and dress myself up

First I would like to see as much of the world as I could, next yes eat things I never been able to afford, then in the last few hours I talk to my maker & tell him all about this bad man & hope to be forgiven, Yes have a nice cup of coffee while sitting there looking out to sea, would of been nice if a lady was sitting there with me also.

I'd probably sit by the nearest body of water, preferrably under a tree and finish my book. In the remaining time I would probably read another one, then just sit, quietly, soaking up nature, looking at the stars. Making peace with Mother Nature if at all possible.

I would sit in a peaceful place overlooking the water and mountains with a bottle of my favourite wine. Once settled I would look back on my life savouring every wonderful moment with a smile on my face.

Sounds perfect but might need to bottles over 24 hours

Being the last PERSON on earth I realise there is no electricity or water being pumped, but as I always have my filtered water filled I would make a cup of tea or coffee and make sure my dog was fed and watered than sit and wait for the end to come by listening to nature, each different bird has a special voice and I love talking to them, I have already made my peace with my maker so I would talk to him and Thank him for all the wonderful people and things in my life, I would cuddle my little Tuckerboy and assure him that he would be fine without me as dogs have not always been domesticate and I would enjoy our time together just listening to nature talk to us, we haven't done it enough in our lives so I would enjoy and listen. silly for some but not for us
