How was your Easter break?

Happy Easter Monday, everyone! How lucky are we to have had a few extra days to kick back and relax? It’s basically been a bonus Sunday with more chocolate and zero guilt about having hot cross buns for breakfast (and maybe lunch too?).
🐰

Anyway, it got me thinking about how everyone spent the Easter holiday. Maybe you had a big family roast, a beach walk if the weather held up, some quality time with the grandkids, or just a quiet moment with a cuppa and your favourite show. Or maybe something unexpected made this Easter one to remember? So, what was the highlight of your break? Jump into the comments and share!

In our house Easter starts with Friday baking different kind of biscuits ( I will post recipes) Then it's church in the evening.

Saturday is more baking including the best Greek sweet bread which is plaited. Then it midnight mass.

Sunday is the day my whole family come together , we used to do it at mine but now my son host it at his.
Sunday morning I make a lot of sides and deserts.
This year I did fried rice, roast potatoes, pasta salad and Greek salad. I also make a custard pie for desert which is a custard inside golden filo pastry with a honey syrup tipped over the top.

My sons cooked meat over charcoal including souvlaki, chicken and lamb

Oh my goodness @Suzanne rose what an incredible spread!

Thankyou Suzanne he is gorgeous. So pleased he is doing so well.
He smiles and laughs. He has started rolling.
He is also trying to sit himself up.

My daughter did the 6 month photo to early. At 24 weeks she was thinking 6 months but he won't be 6 months until 2nd may.

Even though he is nearly 6 months they say he is 3 months corrected. He is pretty much doing what a normal 6 month old will do
