Passed through Xantippe after wrong turn on way to New Norcia. Stopped, got out - 46deg C. Got back in and kept going.

Brukunga

Not much to say about Brukunga except it houses the major CFS training centre. Brukunga used to be a large pyrites mine which closed many years ago. The remnants of that era is massive mounds of tailings, black, barren and foreboding.
