Any travel plans before we ring in the New Year?​

Good morning, SDC family! Today, I'm gearing up for some holiday fun before the New Year.

My nan’s flying in from the States, so I’ll spend a day or two with her, and if time allows, we might even squeeze in a road trip with the cousins! It’s moments like these—filled with family and fresh memories—that remind us how each year brings a new chance to let go of the old and embrace the new.

So, what are your plans? Do you have any family traditions? We’d love to hear your stories!

I have recently separated from a 2.5 year relationship with a lady that I thought was for the rest of my life relationship, it turned out not to be & she turned it around to be a relationship from hell. Well now that is all over, I am looking to move on, forward by myself. I have more money now being debt free & deciding to keep working & do some huge saving for my future.
I am thinking of having a Realy nice holiday in the near future, but not sure where? Caribbean cruise 🛳 or maybe do a visit through a wine area, I do have a nice new luxury Jeep SUV for some nice travel. I do like nice wine and dine - maybe that might be a good start.

Hello all! My kids are on holidays in our my country , the Philippines. I have to stay at home to look after the rabbits. So I will be spending NYE by myself with snowball and Kaia, the pets.
Traditionally, I prepare simple meals, lots of fruits on the table. After, my family writes in a piece of paper, NY resolutions, the things each have to improve, the bad actions taken during the year and burn the paper. The NY resolution for the year is placed in the bottle and prayed for.

Lucky it was only 2.5 years !! I hope you find your forever. Just take it slow and enjoy .

My daughter throws a huge New Years Eve party every year , where our whole family gathers.
Then New Years day we usually go to the beach for a picnic.

New Years eve I make two Greek traditional cake and place a coin in it.
One for us and I take one to my daughter for her family.
The first piece is for the house . Whoever gets the coin it's supposed to bring them good luck.

I will post the recipe tonight.

Hello again, I have to inform you, it is my 82 birthday on Wednesday 1st January and have always considered the fireworks across Australia where to celebrate this fact, but I will miss them this year as I am in the Philippines!! Any photos of the fireworks after the New Year would be appreciated, thanks Guys, Happy New Year to all members!!

Awwww how sweet love his outfit it’s adorable and he looks so well and blimey look at his head of hair. Wowee. Big new year kisses and cuddles to him and may he keep putting on weight and thriving so he can go home to his mummy and daddy

His current weight would now allow him to go home. It's his breathing that's stopped him going home. They are giving him a special dummy to help him with his sucking as well.

He is still being tube fed as he still cant suck, breath and swallow at the time .

Once he is off the oxygen and feeding from his mum for 2 weeks he can then go home.

What a 2 1/2 months it's been , starting with my daughters water breaking.

I really don't want to experience this again.

My dayghterwould have been due in 3 weeks. It's crazy thinking how early he came out

I'm praying that everything goes well with my other daughter who is 17 weeks pregnant and had problems the same time her sisters water broke
