Whilst it is beautiful, the flame lily introduced as an ornamental in gardens, is an environmental weed in Qld and NSW, as it spreads readily through its bulbs, and all parts of the plant are poisonous to animals and humans. If stock eat it they die..

Yes, the flower is pretty. However, it grows berserk and wants to take over my gorgeous pink camellia all the time. I'm forever pulling out their bulbs when I see them sprouting. Where I live, it's certainly an environmental weed which grows wild.
