The only reason I want to know what day it is is to avoid going to the shops when they are full of families.

They don't need me in their way and I don't need the noise and delays at the checkout.

Just had a thought, and no it didn't hurt me.
Some people may require a monthly clock and not just a daily clock
You could even go as far as a yearly clock????????

I've got one of them on the wall.
Some amongst us might call it a yearly clock.
My wife calls it a calendar.
