Original Limericks: Add your line!

Some of us er older folk are well versed in the art form of limericks. It has been said that :-
The limerick is an art form complex
Whose contents run often to sex;
It consists of virgins
and masculine urgings,
And other vulgar erotic effects.

They abound, but how about we contribute some of our own... maybe to celebrate the beginnings of SDC?
Seniors Discount Club is a catchy name
We hope the new forum brings fame;
With new members galore
Maybe a score or more,
Members who'll be so glad they came:

Your turn now folks....

Well done, they each would have made a great last line in the limerick I posted.
A limerick consists of five lines, 1. 2 & 5 rhyming, with 3 & 4 also rhyming but shorter and adding a twist to the story.... as in er not mine, but once voted as the best clean limerick..
There was once a lady from Riga
Who smiled as she rode on a tiger; (here the story takes a twist)
They returned from the ride
With the lady inside, (then the summing up)
And a smile on the face of the tiger..

An exotic young dancer called Mabel
Did most of her steps on a table;
Then one day she slipped
And off the table she flipped

last line please

An exotic young dancer called Mabel
Did most of her steps on a table;
Then one day she slipped
And off the table she flipped,
Now she can't do what she was able..

Now Mabel was more used to a pole
But hanging aloft took its toll;
The strain on her back
And the weight of her "rack"

last line please

Now Mabel was more used to a pole
But hanging aloft took its toll;
The strain on her back
And the weight of her "rack",
Toppled her into the arms of old Jack!

Wow! This is very cool.

I'm going to try and start one...

Vinylted loved to spend time in his shed

Next sentence
(Ps. I know it didn't need to rhyme, but I thought it would be a nice start :ROFLMAO: )

In each panel extend select & copy progress into your reply.. ie:

Vinylted loved to spend time in his shed
Where all his madcap ideas are bred;

next line please...
(should be shorter and not rhyme with first two.)
