The recipe did say let it rest before cooking. Sorry, the instructions under the recipe said that.Very similar to Nann bread I make , but I find better results in letting it sit before cooking
I didn't read right at the bottom . Have to test this recipe. I leave mine for 2 hours and also a second rise after making ballsThe recipe did say let it rest before cooking. Sorry, the instructions under the recipe said that.![]()
Would love for you to post those recipesVery easy to make , always have the four inn your pantry .
I usually make my own bread , mainly dark rye , healthy and fills you up , I only need one slice of it. Sometimes I make soy and linseed bread .
I was always going to buy a bread maker, but never got around to it. Thanks for the tip.It is very simple , buy the flour in bulk at a health food store , they are usually pre-mix , sometimes it needs a little salt if they don’t add it in the pre-mix. I put 2 teaspoons of dry yeast in it . Put it all in the bread machine and add some water . A fast bread takes just less then 2 hours , otherwise it will be 4 hrs.
There were a couple of stores who I assume sold me old bread flour and it hardly did rise , I even put more yeast in but no difference . Probably because it does not sell as much as white or whole meal bread flour .
