YouTube star reveals UNBELIEVABLE HACK for preparing 20 MEAT MEALS for just $35
Meal prep can be an expensive and time-consuming task, particularly if you go in without a plan.
If, like us, you’re on the lookout for tips on how to effectively prepare meals on a budget, you might want to keep reading on to learn how one clever Aussie prepares 20 meat meals for just $35.

YouTube star Frugal Aussie has shared her exact menu and recipes for a week's worth of meals in a recent video.

In her video — titled '20 meat meals for $35' — the vlogger revealed that she used ingredients she got from Woolies to put together the dishes, though sensible substitutions from Coles, Aldi, and IGA should work just as well.

Frugal Aussie became popular on YouTube because of her food challenges, which are not only cost-efficient but also tasty.

She also notes that she only uses regular supermarket ingredients, saying that her aim is to help everyday Australians — "pensioners, uni students, the homeless, or the unemployed stretch a dollar" — put food on the table.

"I am no Gordon Ramsay," she admitted in her video.

“This is not going to be pretty. This is not going to be gourmet. This is going to be food in your belly to survive the week."

“I acknowledge some people won’t like the food, say there are too many or too few calories, that prices will be different where you live, that you have different dietary needs, that is could be healthier etc."

“I am not a dietician. This is what worked for me.”

So, what exactly are the ingredients you need to make the meals on her menu?

Frugal Aussie listed the following items that she purchased at Woolies for a total of $34.06 as follows:
  • 500g sausage mince - $5
  • 2.427kg whole chicken at $3.90/kg - $9.47
  • 6 Puff Pastry sheets - $2.30
  • 1kg frozen peas - $1.99
  • 1kg carrots - $2.50
  • 1 leek - $2.90
  • 4kg brushed potatoes - $5.90
  • 200g mushrooms - $3
  • 1kg flour - $1

Believe it or not, the YouTube star was able to use these ingredients to make multiple servings of Roast Chicken and Vegetables, Chicken and Vegetable Pie, Chicken and Vegetable Soup, and Beef Sausage Rolls with Wedges and Veggies!

Aside from the listed ingredients, she also used staple pantry items such as vegetable oil, herbs, and spices.
