First, you need to prepare the following when cleaning glass shower screens and windows:

· Water.

· Dish Soap.

· White vinegar.

· A microfiber cloth.

· A blackboard eraser.

· A spray bottle.

You may be surprised to see white vinegar up there, but we promise it’s effective as a cleaning agent! It is very affordable and is one of the best options for cleaning windows, and in general, any glass surface.

That’s because the acetic acid in vinegar dissolves tough stains and mineral deposits without damaging the glass. As a bonus, it also has antibacterial properties and will kill household germs.

Now, you can add two parts of water to one part dish soap, and one part of white vinegar to a spray bottle. Mixing a cup of vinegar with a litre of water will create a natural, streak-free window cleaner. To clean the glass, rub it with a microfiber cloth or a blackboard eraser that has been dampened with this solution.

Tip
Remember: cleaning windows with vinegar will leave them with a slight amount of film, so it is necessary to rinse the window with lukewarm water after cleaning.

Now, to prevent soap scum build-up, you’ll need:

· A squeegee.

· Dryer sheets.

A squeegee is a handy tool for keeping windows clean. Not only does it remove excess water from the window, but it can also remove streaks and grime. To clean the shower glass, use the squeegee to wipe down the surface after every shower. Use a dryer sheet for stubborn water spots.

Remember to do this regularly to avoid soap scum from clouding up your shower glass.

Lastly, to clean cloudy glass and other glassware, you need:

· Warm water.

· Microfibre cloth.

· White vinegar.

Fill up your sink with warm water, add two cups of white vinegar, and let the glassware soak for about 10 minutes. After that, wipe them dry with a microfibre cloth, and you’re good to go!

Using these tips should help you clean glass and windows more efficiently! You can also watch how the cleaning hacks are applied in the video below:

Best for window and glass cleaning is the Karcher window vacuum , cleans in a flash, what would take twenty minutes now takes two, one of the best products ever ❤️ Never go back to hard manual window cleaning again ❤️

I have just bought one of those 3 in 1 whatsits from Aldi. I have yet to use it, it's a spray bottle, microfibre pad and a wiper blade. When I find the energy to use it I should be able to keep my windows clean in a flash. :)

I have tried everything, to take water marks from my shower screens and nothing works. There is one other thing I haven’t tried yet, but I’ve bought, it’s strike from Woollies 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍Will see if it works 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I've used this on my mirrors and looks amazing the first few time but then all it does is smudge .

I'm a little confused is it
2 cups of water
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup dish soap

Or 1 litre of water to one cup of vinegar. It says both of these in the one paragraph

For windows - plain water with a reasonable amount of methylated spirits in a spray bottle. Don’t overspray - then wipe off with newspaper or microfibre cloth. If the outside is dusty from not being done regularly spray off the dust with a hose before using the metho solution. Sorry I can’t tell you how much metho because I’ve never measured! But definitely not equal parts, more water than metho.
