Imagine going to your local Kmart, browsing the shelves for bargains, and suddenly noticing something completely out of the ordinary.
That's precisely what happened to Eliza Kennedy, who found a live animal sitting on a shelf during her shopping trip to her local Kmart store.
The ex-reality star couldn't believe her eyes when she saw a live rabbit while shopping at Kmart.
‘I’m in Kmart, and there’s this bunny just sitting here,’ she said in the clip she posted to her social media page.
‘It’s a real bunny. I think it’s real. What? Whose rabbit is this?’ She continued.
As she got closer, Eliza noticed the rabbit's nose twitching, confirming this was a real bunny and not just a Kmart plush toy. ‘It is real. That is real,’ she said.
‘Oh my, someone please collect their bunny rabbit from Kmart.’
Eliza's video has since amassed over 300,000 views on social media, leaving hundreds of people shocked and scratching their heads in disbelief.
Many left comments expressing their confusion about the situation.
‘Aww, poor bunny,’ wrote one person.

‘I work at Kmart, and I’ve seen dogs, cats, birds, lizards...’ the worker wrote.

‘I need to know what happened to the bunny! Did someone pick the bunny up? Why is it there? So many questions!’ One of Eliza’s followers said.
Realising how invested her viewers had become, Eliza posted an update on the bunny situation in a separate video.
‘Ok guys, update on the bunny — I know everyone is very invested in this,’ she began.
‘I did a few laps of the section that the bunny was in, looking like an absolute weirdo. But I was just suspiciously checking everyone out, being like, “Is that your bunny? Are you the parent?” Anyway, the parents were there.’
Eliza continued: ‘It was a couple, and they just picked up the bunny, put the bunny on their shoulder and proceeded to stroll through Kmart. I think it’s very bizarre. People are weird.’
