You won't believe what this mum's fake tan fail looked like! Hint: It's a logo of a major retailer!

We’ve all heard this scenario before - someone’s in a rush to get ready for their big night out, and they decide to give themselves a quick spritz of fake tan. But in their haste, they forget to wash their hands properly afterwards and end up with orange-stained palms. Or even worse – end up with streaks all over their bodies that are impossible to even out!
Fake tan disasters like these are unfortunately quite common. But every now and then, we come across a fake tan fail that’s so epic, it takes things to a whole new level. Case in point: this latest fail from an Aussie mum who managed to imprint the ALDI logo onto her bum in an unfortunate accident. Let’s just say, she's... 'Good. Different' (to quote the retailer's slogan ).
Sharing a clip of her tanning fiasco on TikTok, Amy from Queensland shared how she ended up etching the ALDI logo onto her bottom while trying to tan herself before going to Bondi beach.
'I'm staying in a hotel in Sydney,' she explained.
'I thought it would be great to tan myself before we go to Bondi tomorrow.'
Because everything in her hotel room was white, Amy revealed that she had no choice but to resort to using a plastic bag that was in her hotel room as a makeshift sheet whilst waiting for her tan to develop.
She added: 'I sat on the ground on this ALDI bag.'
'When I got up, obviously it was stuck to my bum... I'd basically imprinted ALDI on my ass... so now I have the ALDI logo stuck to my fake tan on my butt!'
The camera then showed half of her bum cheek which has a pretty impressive ALDI logo imprint.
Amy’s video — which she captioned as 'the definition of a cheap ass' — has made the rounds on social media, racking up over 27,000 views.
'OMG, this is gold!' one user said.
A second chimed in: 'This is just pure comedy!'
A third suggested: 'Maybe turn the bag inside out next time friend. Hope you were able to get it off!'
One shared their laughter with her, writing: 'Thank you for the laugh, I hope it comes off for you.'
Whether you’re a daredevil or a full-blown risk-avoider, there’s no denying that applying fake tan still comes with a few risks!

Key Takeaways
- Never sit on an ALDI plastic bag when getting a spray tan!
- If you do, make sure you turn it inside out first.
- And finally, always rinse your tan off thoroughly to avoid any embarrassing fails.
