You won't believe what escalated this petty feud between neighbours!

We've all heard of people who have had their home and property infringed upon by a neighbour who perhaps took it too far in expressing their resentment of the homeowner.

But one case reached a whole new level as a resident built an undeniably sizeable fence to keep his neighbour at bay. But the neighbour had other plans, and her retaliation was out of this world.

A Texas homeowner named Adrian had been confronting a turbulent dispute with his neighbour for years.

After the resident built a tall fence to separate the two houses—and even went out of his way to paint that one side of the fence—he thought he'd had the last laugh in their ongoing feud.

But his neighbour wasn't giving up without a fight. She waited till nightfall, then pushed the drama to a new level by drenching the wooden fence with an endless stream of water.

The man's security cameras quickly picked up the woman’s behaviour as she sprayed the fence—not for two or five minutes, but for 20 minutes! The watery assault was so loud that the audio of it could be heard from the video captures.

In shock at the entire episode, Adrian uploaded the footage to his social media page. He got an outpouring of support from millions of social media users—including the odd joker suggesting that 'so much anger' was in the water—and other advice on further protecting the fence against vandalism.

But before Adrian could use the tips he'd received, the neighbour set to demonstrate her total disregard for conduct again! She was reportedly recorded on the man's camera kicking and pulling plants from the wooden planter box in his yard.

The tables quickly turned when Adrian stepped outside to confront the woman. When she noticed the man, she and another person in her company hastily scurried back inside their home.

Some online users suggested Adrian take his former neighbours to small claims court. Sadly, it is unclear whether he has seen an end to his problems with the aggressive neighbour.

Key Takeaways

  • A homeowner in Texas built a tall fence to block his nosy neighbours.
  • The neighbour, however, reacted negatively, drenching the new fence in water.
  • The incident, caught on camera, has generated over 4.5 million views and prompted a surge of supportive comments for the homeowner on social media.
  • The homeowner has since accused the neighbour of destroying his planter and vandalising his property, with further incidents also caught on camera.

If you find yourself unhappy with your neighbour's behaviour, we suggest handling the situation in a respectful manner. If resolving the matter amicably proves unsuccessful, you may want to consider contacting your local authorities, such as your local council, for assistance in resolving the issue.

I was living on my dads farm on 40 acre water tank would be about quarter gone every time I went into town..
I sought detective help at police station
My 2 dogs disappeared.
than they thought if they can't have water am not going to ....I was on tank water and very careful with it.

It was in that 5 year drought.

So while I was in town sheep's head and wombat body was put into concrete tank
No amount of cleaning got stench out
Dad sold it in the end...police could not be there 24/7....

Move away people like that are streetwise and break laws all the time council don't want to get involved.

So cut your losses sell instead been stressed and unhappy what goes around comes around.

I had problem with neighbour who used a chainsaw to cut down the fence. Then when I was out he threw all fencing under my carport. Then a couple of days later he started dumping soil/stones on my property in my absence. It was caught on cameras. I went to the council and police and no one would help me. I lived by myself and was working full time which was when he did most damage. This started happening when I put my house up for sale. I was told go to court and get an intervention order!!!
No support

I have been inasimilar position on a farm with rescued livestock that I tamed and allow to roam freely. My neighbour disliked it so much that 3 out of 5 dogs were stolen baited hay thrown over fence gates opened. I had new fences installed cameras put about. Didn’t stop the sods. They came onto property dark of night dressed in black rammed the fence over set fire to a brand new quad and set fire to rabbit enclosure. My peacocks had their necks rung and left at front door. I did get my dogs back but only because I made a report about a hydro setup on a neighbouring property where the dogs were locked down. I had even been assaulted by the neighbour police and council and rspca wouldn’t do a thing. I even contemplated suicide it was so bad so I rehomed every animal except dogs and cats and fled. I just couldn’t do it any longer. When you need help where is it? I don’t trust any authority now and miss even single 1 of those animals and it breaks my heart daily

In Texas (or USA for that matter) self-centred madness reigns. He should be thankful that she didn't have a gun (or that he had security cameras rather than a gun).

I am always surprised to read about fencing disputes in the US. Many of the cases arise because one neighbour decides to erect a fence without consultation with another. What you write about respectful communication is good advice. Fortunately, we in the "nanny" (ie civilised) state of Australia are guided by our rules and regulations to avoid most of such disputes.
