One Kmart, however, was filled to the brim with this single item!
A customer named Paul shared a video of hundreds of bright pink suitcases filling a Kmart store in Melbourne.
The store, split over three floors, has been filled with rows and rows of the $89 70cm Albany Hard Case.
'Who ordered all these suitcases?' Paul asked.
He even went so far as to hint at a potential mistake by store staff, captioning his post ‘Someone at Kmart is getting fired!’
The video left many users stumped. Jokes such as 'You get a pink suitcase, you get a pink suitcase, you get a pink suitcase, everyone gets a pink suitcase!' and 'That’s more suitcases than employees at this point,' quickly emerged.
One user commented on the problems this could cause: ‘Next thing the airport carousel will have 20 of these and everyone taking the wrong one.’
Many other Kmart fans agreed that this must have been an unfortunate error.
‘I'm a department manager at a grocery store and the fear of mistakenly ordering thousands of something shakes me to my core,’ one user said.
'Ordered 300 instead of 30,' another said.
A third user added, 'Now I know why my Kmart didn’t have any in stock, they’re all in this store!'
