That’s right, after years of watching Coles and Woolies race ahead in the online shopping game, ALDI is now rolling out a service that lets you get your favourite Special Buys and everyday essentials delivered straight to your door.

The new service kicked off on July 8th in Canberra, with plans to expand across the country in the coming months.
If you’re in the ACT, you can now order more than 1,800 ALDI products—including fresh fruit and veg, meat, seafood, dairy, bread, and all your household essentials—through the DoorDash app or website.
Here’s how it works:
1. Download the DoorDash app or visit their website.
2. Search for ‘ALDI’ and browse the available products.
3. Add your favourites to your cart.
4. Choose whether you want your groceries delivered ASAP or at a time that suits you.
5. Sit back and wait for your ALDI haul to arrive at your door!

At the moment, the service is only available in Canberra as part of a trial. But don’t worry—ALDI’s Chief Commercial Officer, Jordan Lack, has assured us that a national rollout is on the horizon.
So, if you’re outside the ACT, keep an eye on the DoorDash app for updates on when ALDI delivery will be available in your area.
As with any delivery service, there may be some extra fees involved, so it’s worth checking the app for details.
