Woolworths Meerkat Statues Are Back and Selling Out Fast - here’s why they’re so popular!

When it comes to home décor, there are endless ways to add some flair and character to your living space.

One way to do this is by incorporating figurines into your design scheme. Figurines can add a touch of whimsy, sophistication, or even quirkiness to your home, depending on your personal style.

Also, there's something about a stylish figurine that just makes it irresistible to collectors. They always seem to sell out fast, no matter how many are made. Whether it's a limited edition or a one-of-a-kind, these pieces are always in high demand.

That's why it is not surprising that Woolworths has restocked one of its most popular items to date: the highly collectible garden meerkat statues.

The meerkat figurines, which are currently priced at $10 to $18 each, are already sending customers into a frenzy, with numerous characters selling out online.

These 22cm tall meerkat figurines are individually dressed as iconic characters in meerkat form, spanning a variety of professions and interests, including doctors, paramedics, firefighters, police officers, tradespeople, and artists.

There are also meerkat figurines that are inspired by famous film and entertainment franchises, such as Harry Potter-inspired design, an Elvis-inspired Cord the Singer, and Daska Intergalactic Warrior!

Other stylish designs that customers can choose from include Struan the Scot, Willow the Witch, Rose the Valentine Meerkat, Grenadier the Guard, Abigail the Meerkat Beach Dancer, Donald the Meerkat Pilot, and many more.

The demand for these figures has increased over the past four years, with 2020 selling the equivalent amount of stock as 2019 in the first week.

Approximately 150,000 meerkat figurines are expected to be sold this Spring, according to Woolworths.

So if you're looking for a unique gift (or just a fun addition to your own collection), be sure to check out the Woolworths website or your nearest store. But hurry – these meerkats are flying off the shelves!

None thanks…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Maybe it has something to do with getting older, but I now find that collectables and ornaments just become dust collectors and don't hold the same appeal any more. I used to collect teddy bears and vintage china, but have now downsized my collections to the point that they really aren't collections any more, just a few special pieces. For me it also has a lot to do with clearing out my late Mum's house. My friend lost her Mum around the same time, so we helped each other. Both our Mum's were almost hoarders, so it was a huge task!

I too have given up on collecting things. I know my kids aren't interested, they've both told me so. I have asked each of them to please take something from my home that means something to them and the rest can go. I'm de-cluttering on a massive scale as I really don't need so much "stuff" in fact I'm amazed at the amount, where did it all come from?!!

It s hard enough to get rid of all the things I have without adding to them! too many things too good to go into landfill, but selling them online or even giving them away for free is too much work, charity bins are gone, and the op shops want mainly "new" things... So I ve started by telling my friends to only give me "experiences" for my birthday etc... but now people have started giving presents like mugs, t shirts, blankets etc to my DOG😂😂😂

Cute looking little figures. This article stated that these are a collector's item which includes the people who may enjoy collecting them from your garden, via a five finger discount & sell them on or keep them. Still a cheap way to make money at another's expense.
