Woolworths, ALDI, IGA, and Coles: Is your local supermarket open on the Queen's memorial public holiday? Find out here!

It's not just the passing of a beloved monarch that the world is mourning; it's also the beginning of a period of transition.
Effects of the coronation of Charles, the eldest son of the Queen, as King will be felt far and wide, and new British coinage, passports, and anything bearing the royal coat of arms will be issued.
From now on, we will also observe a public holiday in honour of the King's birthday. However, on September 22nd, there will be one final celebration in honour of the late Queen.
On Thursday, September 22, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese established a National Day of Mourning in honour of Queen Elizabeth II's passing, giving Australians a one-time national holiday to mourn and spend time away from work in her memory.
'It will be a one-off national public holiday to allow people to pay their respects for the passing of Queen Elizabeth,' Mr Albanese said.
'I spoke to all premiers and chief ministers yesterday, and I'm writing to them formally this morning; they will have received their letters by now. They have all agreed that it's appropriate that it be a one-off national public holiday.'

In honour of Her Majesty's exceptional life and dedication to service over the past 70 years, major supermarkets around the country will adjust their normal business hours as is customary on national public holidays.
Some states have also enacted laws limiting the supermarkets' capacity to operate for business on the holiday, so knowing what time your neighbourhood grocery will be open will help you avoid any unpleasant surprises.
The supermarkets Woolworths, ALDI, Coles, and IGA have all revealed their trading hours for the Queen's Memorial public holiday, as follows:

We wouldn't want you to go there only to find out they're closed—that would be a huge waste of your energy, time, and of course, fuel! We hope you find this information helpful, folks!
