A Woolies worker revealed a new trolley feature to help shoppers save their time and energy when going through a staffed checkout.


The video was shared on Woolworths’ official TikTok account, with team member Liam Kirley showing a unique feature on its smaller shopping carts.

In the video footage, Liam demonstrated how the store’s smaller trolleys fit under the cash registers at the end of the checkout.

This hack is perfect for shoppers who want to easily load their items back into the trolley once they have been scanned by a Woolies employee, skipping the bagging process altogether. So convenient!

“If you want to skip bagging and you have a smaller trolley, these trolleys fit into our registers,” said Liam in the video.

“Just like that - so you can easily place items into the trolley.”

Aside from sharing the new trolley feature, Liam also showed another checkout hack for customers buying multiple of the same items.

“If you have more than one of the same product, you can put one of those on the conveyor belt and leave the rest in the trolley and just tell our team member how many you have, and we’ll put it in the register,” he explained.

Liam’s video on the trolley feature and checkout hack has been viewed over 29.7K times and has drawn many reactions on TikTok.
