The classic beverage was at the peak of its popularity between the 70s and 80s and was (and still is!) the perfect summer treat.

Slush Puppies used to come in old school slushy machines, usually found in your local milk bar or newsagent or your neighbourhood Blockbuster, that you could fill a cup with.

Now, the new Slush Puppies come in pouches in three different flavours: Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, and Grape. You can freeze the portable pouches and take the drink on the go.

As Slush Puppie says, ‘Freeze, Squeeze, and Drink!’

The old school favourite is exclusively available in Woolworths for only $3 each.


TikTok users are losing their minds over the return of a sweet Aussie favourite



Popular TikTok user @tylahhill, who regularly posts nostalgic Aussie TV shows, foods, and toys, recently posted about the resurgence of Slush Puppie.

The clip amassed over 26,000 plays, nearly 2,000 likes, and over 100 comments from TikTok users who are losing their minds over the news, expressing their desire to get their hands on their favourite childhood drink again.

One TikTok user wrote: “My childhood.”

"They taste amazing," another wrote.

One fan even went too far and wrote that his son just got the Slush Puppie tattooed on his arm!

Some pointed out that a few Slush Puppie machines are still operating in schools and corner stores mainly located in Queensland.

TikTok user @tylahhill is not the only one who's raving over the return of Slush Puppies, other users are showing off their purchase of the drink on the platform as well.


TikTok user @leashylouu92 shared a clip of her Slush Puppie haul as she unpacked them into her freezer.

The clip garnered over 46,000 likes and has been commented on by thousands of people.

One wrote: “Off to Woolworths, bye everyone.”

Another user expressed her agreement by writing: “we are getting these.”

“Oh, I need these in my life,” wrote a third.


TikTok user @ggeorgia.southern did a taste test of each flavour and gained over 5,000 likes.

Her verdict: “Grape one’s my favourite, but this one (blue raspberry) a pretty close second."

Slush Puppies are available exclusively at Woolworths. Currently, the old school favourite is not available for purchase online but could be available in your local Woolies store!
