Problem is that when I try to take advantage of these half price specials you advise of our local supermarket is "out of stock" of many of the items. Maybe you should do an article on that.

Unfortunately, most of the items we see on specials from all the supermarkets are for things that are only luxury items. I wish we could get some real food deals like meats, chicken, pork, fish etc not just so-called reductions on prices that have already been upped the week or a couple of weeks before.

Last week there was a special deal at Woolies for Rewards card holders, Coca Cola 1.25 litre bottles at 2 for $5.00 when a few weeks ago they were on special for $1.77 each which is 2 for $3.54. Coles does similar things. They must think we are stupid and in this case Woolies insulted Rewards card holders.
