Well a word of warning, our son and his then partner lived with us and after our adorable grandson was born he slept in the bedroom between our bedroom and theirs. He had a baby monitor, well years later our by then sons ex, with whom we have always remained friends as she is the mum of 3 of our grandkids, informed us that they often had to turn the baby monitor down in their room as they could hear everything we did. Walls are very thin but we would never have thought that would happen. Too late to worry about it by the time she told us so we just said oh dear, hope we didn’t embarrass you two by having fun.

I'm totally with the couple having a bit of fun.
Obviously, it has irritated her neighbor because she is a sour prune and missing out on what living is all about. I would have graded the performance from 1 to 10 outside my window so she knew that others could hear them. Not a big deal.

When we were living in a unit the couple directly above us kept us up for hours . Bed a rocking and even our light shade rattled. We just laughed and wished we knew exactly what they or should I say how they were doing it.

We would sometimes have coffee and I had to tell her we could hear her wild lovemaking , she blushed and after that it was quiet, I actually felt bad I mentioned it but what she didn't realise was I wanted to know what exactly they were doing.

We were always adventurous and loved learning new stuff.

The woman explained that she had not realised her window was open.

'The window was an honest mistake and did not realise it was open until you raised a commotion and slammed yours theatrically, to then which we closed the window,' she added.

She also ensured letting the neighbour know the legal repercussions of threatening to record her.

'Recording someone within the privacy of their home is illegal and a criminal offence.'

'Recording an individual having private activities and distributing it without their permission is also illegal and can lead to jail time.'

The woman later updated that the neighbour responded by ‘yelling very loudly’ at the woman from her own window saying: 'Maybe I might get some sleep tonight!'

The woman claimed she had reported the matter to the police along with security footage of the neighbour leaving the note and the letter they sent.

'[The officer] actually laughed when I read out the note,' she shared.

'She told me to keep the note and the video as this is intimidation and a threat and if this woman keeps [shouting or] harassing then I can get an order out on her.

The woman also claimed on her social media post that she rarely has company over at her place.

'I haven't had anyone over in the longest time, and this isn't something that happens every single night,' she said.

'Am I right in taking everything to the police? I'm so flustered.'

Such was the case for a woman who was busy doing the deed with a bloke she invited over.

Amidst the throes of passion and ecstasy, they overhead what sounded like shutters slamming shut from the neighbouring house.

'Halfway through the deed, we hear the neighbour slam the window shut and realised the window was open,' she said.

'We popped up quickly to shut the window and resumed…'

The woman thought all was well until the next day, when she returned from work to find a handwritten note in large capital letters left outside her door. It was a furious message from her neighbour about the night before, and what she should have done before inviting her partner over.

My husband and I regularly used to get woken up by the young couple next on weekends after they came home around 3 in the morning. Plus we could see down into their house from our upstairs windows. She was a screamer. Just as we got used to it and had worked out it was best to just wait it out then snuggle down and go back to sleep. Sometimes we enjoyed our own less noisy fun. And a few years earlier we had neighbours that we could from our ensuite window see having sex in the lounge room occasionally. I actually found it embarrassing to witness. The nasty neighbour should buy some earplugs if it upsets her so much. Nothing much she can do about two consenting adults enjoying their relationship. I hope she can get a life and not escalate her nastiness into the courts.
